World Book & Copyright Day

What better way to celebrate World Book & Copyright Day than by honouring the talented nominees just announced for the Nordic Council’s Children and Young Adult Literature Prize 2024.

The nominated books and their authors this year explore big questions about life and our relationship with nature. This year they tell stories that are important for kids and teens, helping them understand the world and themselves better.

Congratulations to all the nominees!

World Book and Copyright Day is a celebration instigated by Unesco to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. Each year on 23 April they pay a worldwide tribute to books and authors, encouraging everyone to access books.

At Schilling we are proud to support the publishers and creators who bring wonderful and thought-provoking stories to life. So let’s take a moment to celebrate the authors, illustrators, and publishers who create magic for all of us.

We look forward to finding out who wins on 11 October! …And remember, the best way to support literature is to read or listen to books.
